Add your music
- Launch Orfeo once to create its music folder.
- Open Files and copy your tracks to On My iPhone / iPad → Orfeo → MusicLibrary. You can organise them in artist and album subfolders.
- Return to Orfeo. The library refreshes automatically; you can also pull down to refresh.
Before deleting Orfeo, save a copy of MusicLibrary elsewhere. Uninstalling removes the app’s local files.
Frequently asked questions
Which formats can I play?
MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV and AIFF. Files must be available on your device and DRM-free. Orfeo reads track titles, artists, albums and artwork from file metadata.
A track is missing from my library.
Check that the file is inside MusicLibrary and has finished copying. Check its format and integrity, then pull down in the library to refresh. Review any warning details. Nested folders are supported.
Playback will not start or I cannot hear audio.
Check the volume and audio output, including connected Bluetooth or AirPlay devices. Use Retry if a recoverable error appears. If only one track is affected, try a valid copy of that file.
How does Magic EQ work?
Magic EQ analyses the track on your device and adapts the equalisation. Turn it on or off in the player to compare the result. Playback continues during analysis; a neutral profile is used if analysis is unsuccessful.
What does “Clear cache” remove?
Orfeo Settings lets you rebuild temporary artwork and metadata. Music files and playlists are preserved.
How do I delete my data?
Remove tracks in Files and playlists in Orfeo. Before uninstalling, save a separate copy of MusicLibrary: deleting Orfeo also removes its local data. Manage any device backups separately.
